It's been around for a long time and is a popular option for businesses because of the many features and options it offers.

More people are online, more often than previously, and it's likely this will only increase over time.

However, if you create a company blog, you can showcase your expertise in a specific field or give visitors an insight into your products or services. You might also draw attention to important issues that people may be overlooking.

A blog is a great way to think through the complex issues your company faces. By writing about the challenges you face, you can work out the solutions in your head and share them with the world.

A blog, like anything else you do online, builds trust. People who visit blogs, read them, and share them with others tend to have better customer relations than those who don't. Blogging helps build trust in your company because it's clear that you're accessible — there's no need to leave a comment box hanging open for days on end, waiting for someone to type back. And if you create an easy-to-use site, visitors won't have trouble finding what they want — and will likely return often to check for new information.

Creating a blog isn't just about reaching out to potential customers. It can also help you reach out to current and past customers who might be interested in talking with you or buying from you again. The more times a customer visits or communicates with you through a blog, the more likely he is to buy from you in the future.
